Hardwood Floor
Installation.

Solid and engineered hardwood, acclimated to your home and set tight over a flat, dry subfloor so the floor stays quiet and gap-free for decades.

Why prep is everything

The boards are the last step. The subfloor is the first.

A hardwood floor lives with foot traffic, furniture, kids, and pets for decades. The finished boards are what people see, but the flat subfloor, the moisture reading, and the days of acclimation are what keep it from cupping, gapping, or squeaking later.

We check the subfloor for flatness and moisture, fix any squeaks and high spots, let the wood acclimate to your home's humidity, then install board by board with a tight, staggered layout. That groundwork is why our floors stay flat where rushed installs cup and gap.

We install both solid hardwood (nail-down or staple over a wood subfloor) and engineered hardwood (nail, glue, or float, including over concrete). We help you choose species, plank width, and finish, and handle trim, transitions, and shoe molding to finish it clean.

How it works

From subfloor to final board.

01

Prep & acclimate

Flatten the subfloor, fix squeaks, moisture-test, and let the wood acclimate.

02

Layout

Dry-lay the run, set the starting line square, and stagger the end joints.

03

Install

Nail, staple, glue, or float each board tight with the right expansion gap.

04

Trim & finish

Set transitions and shoe molding, clean up, and walk the floor with you.
